Vietnam Embassy Attestation is No Longer Required

From 11 September 2026, Vietnam is part of the Hague Apostille Convention. This means that Vietnamese Embassy attestation is no longer required for UK public documents covered by the Convention.

Instead, eligible UK documents can now be legalised with an Apostille for use in Vietnam.
